Higgs Family Dental, previously known as Stanley Higgs D.D.S., Inc., has been providing gentle dental care to Galveston County and the surrounding area since 1980.

We are dedicated to staying on top of the latest diagnostic tools and treatments. It is our goal to give our patients healthy smiles of which they can be proud. We want to achieve that goal as easily as possible for our patients.

We couldn’t be the office we are without our staff. They are always helping patients by giving them the information they need to make the right decision. Our staff will discuss all of your options and what to expect. They are here to answer your questions and address your concerns. It is their goal to give you a satisfying experience every time you walk through our doors. Quite simply, they are great at what they do!

We understand that your first visit to the dentist can feel overwhelming and we try to accommodate all new patients with a comfortable and organized facility.

Our staff has taken the steps to prepare you for the first appointment by providing a full spectrum of the services we offer and the option to complete our new patient form prior to your visit. Our goal is to cover everything you need with a full and efficient assessment, but without waiting to see the doctor.

    I love Higgs Family Dental. All of my visits are pain free and I’ve had some major work done. They’re also perfectionists and very careful in everything they do, from cleanings to fillings to crowns. Prices are comparable and they take insurance. They also do great whitening services. Lisa Higgs is my dentist and Yulia is my usual hygienist and they are both fabulous.
